The June meeting of the JNZBC was held at Gold Partner BNZ’s head office in Central Auckland.
The theme of the evening was RWC 2019 – leveraging opportunities, where speakers from NZ INC – NZTE/TNZ/MFAT shared their calendar of activities to be conducted throughout RWC 2019 and explained how Kiwi business can tap into this unique opportunity.
From high value food & beverage trade shows to technology and renewable energy seminars and investment events, the RWC 2019 leveraging programme affords the Japanese public the opportunity to experience a “taste of New Zealand” in their own back yard. The NZ Inc speakers discussed how as a small island nation with a population of under 5 million people we achieve more when we work together and the RWC 2019 events programme is a culmination of activities to highlight NZ and gain traction in a key market for Kiwi exporters.
A highlight of the evening was Lauren Vosper of Tourism New Zealand explaining their novel and unique way to engage with the Japanese public, more to follow.......
